Amina Protection Units make sure your speakers are safe and working at their best. Professionally installed panels with an APU are covered under warranty for 10 years in residential properties and 5 years commercial

FireHood 200 / 345

Amina's custom-designed firehoods offer an additional 60 minutes of fire protection

  • Fire Tested to BS EN 1363-1: 2012 in various ceiling and floor constructions

  • Fire Hood 200 for Mobius5i/S200 slim panels dimensions 600mm x 220mm x 102mm

  • Fire Hood 300 for Edge3i & Mobius3i Panels dimensions 550mm x 320mm x 102mm

  • Fire Hood 345 for Mobius5i/7i and Edge5i/7i panels dimensions 600mm x 360mm x 102mm

  • Retains fire integrity of the ceiling

  • Lightweight and flexible

  • Can be used in plasterboard ceilings and walls

SHIMS/SCRIM & MOUNTING

 
 

Shim Kits

For use when Amina speakers are being installed into plasterboard thicker or thinner than the standard 12.5 mm

  • Fit all models. Specify model at point of order

  • Allows correct spacing in plasterboard

  • Check thickness of board before ordering

  • Panel shim kits can be added to allow for up to 30mm of board

  • 9mm board requires backbox shim kit to space back box away from back of plasterboard

Scrim Tape

Recommend tape to be used during the installation process so the plaster adheres better to the panel

  • Alkaline Resistant Glass mesh joint tape

  • Weight - .65gsm

  • Self Adhesive

  • A Whole roll provides coverage for 60-70 panels - 50m long

  • Can be supplied per panel if required

Mounting Blocks

Amina blocks are used in installs where backboxes are not used

  • 4 Plastic mounting blocks for use where no back box is used.

  • Please advise plasterboard thickness to be used at time of order

Wood bonding FilM APPLICATION

Wood-film is used when Amina speakers are required to be placed onto wood surfaces

  • Adhesive film applied to panel surface to allow product to be bonded to rear of wooden panel

  • Must be ordered at the same time as panel
